2025 Annual General Meeting

In accordance with Clause 39 of the PCNSW Constitution notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Porsche Club NSW Inc. will be held at Porsche Centre Sydney South, 470 Gardeners Rd Alexandria NSW 2015 on 11 November 2025 at 8.00 pm.
A Special Resolution will be put to members in relation to the Club’s Constitution. The Constitution is a live document that needs to be reviewed from time to time and the Committee has suggested the following changes as summarised:
- Clarification regarding Life Members
- Amendments to the composition of the committee
- Amendments to the experience required for certain committee positions
- Quorum requirements
- Adding Sections 35A, 48A and 55A
- Amending the number of proxy votes allowed
A copy of the proposed Constitution, together with the Special Resolution are attached to this email.
Our club seeks nominations for all committee positions as a number of committee members will not be standing for their current positions again. This includes the positions of President, Competition Director, Social Director and Secretary. Other positions may also become vacant due to successful nominations of existing committee members for the aforementioned positions.
It is also proposed that the number of general committee positions be increased from two to four.
Please note that nominees for President must have had at least two years’ experience on the committee within the last 7 years. For Vice President and Competition Director 1 year’s experience on the committee within the last 7 years is required.
Just so it is clear, should the proposed amendments to the Constitution be passed it will mean that:
1. Nominations will be taken for four general committee positions
2. Voting for all positions will occur on 11 November 2025.
3. Proxies will be limited to one per person (including the chair)
If the changes to the Constitution are not passed, the current Constitution will prevail.
