Yes its time to blow the cobwebs out and remove the rust off the disc brakes on our Porsches. Unfortunately due to the NSW Government COVID Restrictions we are limited to a gathering of no more than 20 people.
A Mid-Week run because the roads and gathering areas are less crowded so we can have some great driving and not have to contend with over-crowded stopping areas. For our lunch stop I have chosen Cataract Dam Picnic Area.
The Schedule for the Day
9.45am – Meet at Bunnings Carpark, Beech Rd Casula (Crossroads)
10.00am – Depart and drive south on the M5 to Wilton Exit onto the Picton Rd and then onto Mt Keira Lookout
10.45am – 15 min Relief stop at Mt Keira Lookout to enjoy fantastic views of the Illawarra.
11.00am – Depart and head back toward Princes Hwy via Clive Bissell Drive and then onto the M1 till the Helensburgh Exit and onto Stanwell Tops (no stopping as it will probably be too crowded to accommodate our 20 people and Porsches). Continue through the Royal National Park until Waterfall and the return to the Old Princes Hwy to Bulli.
12.30pm – Arrive at Cataract Dam Picnic Area – Stop for Lunch for approx.. 1 1/2hrs
2.00pm – Depart Dam and head towards Appin and then onto Broughton Pass, Douglas Park, Menangle and Campbelltown
3.00pm – Arrive M5 / M7 Interchange at the Crossroads.
COST: $10/CAR.
