Come along to see Jeff’s GT2 RS Tarmac Rally car ‘Red Thunder’ and hear about what goes into prep for an event – the logistics of recce plans, tweaking stage notes and making recce fun, team formation and what it takes to put yourself in a winning position. Jeff will give an update on the current situation with Tarmac Rally permits in Australia, what your options are if you would prefer to do a Tour instead of Competition and some Q&A if time permits.
Steve Reed (fellow PCNSW member) will chat about his perspective as Support Crew completing 4 rallies with the team.
Jeff’s wife Fiona will talk about her experience both driving and navigating in Red Thunder after the 30th Targa Tasmania was downgraded to a Touring event.
Romey Nassar, distributor of Feynlab coatings will discuss the extra demands Tarmac Rallies put on a vehicle and the special coatings and maintenance regime he uses to keep Red Thunder looking like new after 6 rallies and many track days.
